Saturdays are my favorite day of the week

I want to thank you all for taking the time to visit my new blog. I appreciate and adore all of the comments that have been left for me.

Saturdays are my favorite day of the week.

Why?

Well, it is the one day my mother is allowed to get out of the house and go do something for a few hours.

Although there are many things we are not allowed to do, such as play golf or go to the movies, we do enjoy whatever time we have when we are out together.

Today we went into Anchorage and walked around the Dimond mall.

I bought some new summer clothes and tried to talk my mom into buying some for herself as well, but she always refuses to buy anything for herself when we barely have any food in the fridge.

Many of you asked if my mother (Sherry Johnston), or brother (Levi Johnston), will be guest writers.

In my Mom's case the answer is yes. She has already discussed many topics with me, and I can assure you they will be heartfelt, full of emotion, and pretty intense.

As for my brother, well I am looking into interviewing him exclusively just for my blog.

I will have a more informative entry up at the beginning of next week. In it I will be answering many of your questions and getting into more detail. You won’t want to miss this.

Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to visit my little piece of the internet, and you have a great weekend.

Look forward to more posts from you Mercede. Wish you'd do some BLOWING PALIN outta the park...but alas, I'm sure posts will be tame seeing how Levi has enough trouble seeing his son. Wouldn't want to cause him undo pain.

God I pray to God the Palin's are brought down soon. She's such a divider of this great country of ours.

Anyway, look forward to more. Thanks.

I'm so glad your mom can get out of the house sometimes! And tell her that even when things are tight, sometimes you just gotta have a teeny bit o' chocolate (or something silly - not expensive, but ... frivolous).

And congratulations to you - on joining the ranks of the bloggin world. It's good to see your posts.

all the best,
Nan

I am looking to reading more posts as so far you have shown great potential in writing as a career!
I am also looking forward to hearing from your Mom for several reasons. I am your Mom's age, and I too have a Grandchild that I seldom get to see (my Son and my grandchild's Mom never married) so I cherish those few moments I get to spoil my grandchild. I know the heartbreak she is going through in missing a grandbaby.
I still think she was set up by the Palins in order to hold it over your family's heads to "keep in line". I am anticipating a post about that as well.
Keep up the great writing Sadie, and seriously consider writing as a college career!

I like Saturdays too.
Mostly because I can get up any time I want, or go to bed anytime I want.

As a kid, my mom used to make apple pie on Friday night and we would eat it for breakfast Saturday morning. To this day, apple pie is always eaten at breakfast time.

I'm glad Sherry and you got out a bit. Diamond Center eh? I've only been their Christmas shopping. Lol.

Anyway, got to go.
While you and your mom was enjoying the Diamond Center, I have been re-insulating the attic. Now I that everything is cleaned up, I'm gonna spend my evening in the shower and then take a bath. Lol
take care

Thanks for sharing your life with us via your blog, Mercede. It's wonderful to see how you and your brother are so caring and loving toward your Mom. I'm hoping that her legal problems will soon be over and she'll be able to enjoy life again with complete freedom.

Looking forward to hearing all about your life in Alaska, your family, especially your cute little nephew, Tripp. I sincerely hope you will be able to spend much more time with him in the very near future. He can only benefit from being around his father and his father's family. After all, a child can never have too much love in his life.

Keep up the great work Mercede! Blogging comes naturally to you and I just know you have much to tell us.

And please post pics of yourself in any of those new summer dresses you may get. ;-)

I know it is hard when you are having financial difficulties, I have been there. I live on social security disability myself. It feels like you are drowning in debt because there is not much left after paying for the necesities. I will be looking forward to more of your posts and would love to hear from your mom.

I wish Levi had full custody of Tripp. He seems like the better parent and doesn't seem to be interested in using Tripp to make money in magazines. I also think it is very sad for Levi, and you and your mom, to see Tripp's mom being paid to make speeches about her mistake getting pregnant--It is just my opinion, but I think it doesn't make her sound like a caring mother, rather a "put upon" mother using her child to make money.

I would far rather spend time with your family than a minute with the Palins. You all seem to be very genuine. I have one question. There has been a picture of Levi holding Tripp (I think) on his lap published on the blogs. In it the arm and hand of another baby is visible. Who is that baby and why was he/she cropped out?

Hello Mercede,
Glad to see you back posting. Yes, Saturdays are pretty special. Sundays too, when I was your age. My grandma used to bake three pies a week on Saturdays. We ate one Saturday after dinner and the other two were gone by Tuesday at the latest. lol!! There were six of us living in my grandparents house then and I loved it! Take care now and have a great weekend.

*hugs to all*

Welcome to the blogosphere!

This is an amazing world out here and I'm betting you're going to take to it like a duck to water :)

Have enjoyed reading everything you've posted over at TMI - even when the content has been uncomfortable, you've emerged an intuitive writer and your love of family shows in each sentence.

Looking forward to more!

Good luck to you and your mom. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your posts and your mom's. I'm wondering how your mom feels about Diane Palin's treatment in court and her sentencing.

Nice to see another post, hope your family is doing well. It was great to read words from your mom, recently on IM, about the bizarre cake pictures.

Hope this type of communication can help in connecting with others, with you & your family, & all you have been through. Looking forward to hearing more & take care.

Welcome, Mercede!

Saturdays are my favorite too, ever since Saturday mornings were 'Cartoon Day' (this was way-way-WAY before Nickelodeon, the Cartoon Network and Adult Swim!)

Yeah, I'm old! ;)

Anyway, best of luck!

Hi Sadie, it's good to know you and your mom were able to get out of the house and do girl things even if just for a few hours. You and your mom sound like you're very close [as well as Levi], and that is a help to you as well as mom.

I also look forward to hearing more from you and even if I don't always comment, I will be checking in each time you have a new post.

Take care of yourself and mom, and I look forward to anything you post. I just want you to know all of us appreciate greatly that you are willing to share your life happenings with all of us. Thank you again and best of luck to you and yours.

Just remember that you are allowed to say whatever you want as long as you believe it's the truth. No one can sue you ever for libel because truth is always a successful defense. I'm sure you will get threats and warnings from the Palins or even their attorney. You probably already have! Well screw them , tell the truth and stand strong. Sarah may think she's up there with God, but the majority of Americans can't stand her and wish she would go away. Her poll numbers last week were ar an all time low! Yeah!!!!

So if she tries to bully, stand strong. Her bots are frigging insane!! We know you've witnessed this. So stay safe, but remember they are not the majority!!

I hope you'll tell everything you know. Not because of getting even, but because no one has had the courage to stand up and tell the truth about the Palins. What you say is more important to our country than you might realize. She has been given a free pass by the media which is wrong. And selfish McCain unleashed this sick nasty woman on our country without properly vetting her. Many will never forgive him.

I look forward to your blog posts. Enjoy this weekend and stay strong Mercedes!!!! Most Americans just want the truth. Stick to that and you'll be fine!!

While I hope it's not anything that affected her too much, your mom has been treated SHABBILY by the media. I'd be interested in hearing how she managed to stay positive in light of that, so I can't wait to read her guest posts.

I am so sorry your family has endured all that is evil at the hands of people who claim to be good Christians. I hope someday the overdue Karma visits them and makes them realize what horror they have brought upon so many innocent people. I can't imagine the hold that family has on your family, other Alaskans and how in the puedo name of good GOP values, children are left without healthcare and the most needy are left to fend for themselves but for an occasional plate of cookies sans the bendy straw.

WakeUpAmerica said...

It would do the Palins well to remember "Karma's a bitch!!" Their time will come eventually. They may be living large now while your family suffers, but you stay real. It will pay off in the future. One thing you have in your family that the Palins are outrageously jealous of is love for one another. Best wishes for a happy future for you and your family.

southernyankee said...

Rember Saddie, No matter what you say or do it seems the Palins will have an eye on you and your family. You should really think about moving. This is no way for a family to live. But then speak the truth. Sooner or later the country won't have to listen to this idiot. Why did your brother allow himself to be used by this messed up family. They don't have good vibes. They are controlling.

Look forward to your moms writings. As you can see, you have lots of support, and if you and your mom need finacial help, maybe you could set up some type of fund where we could all help. Just a thought...
