Break a leg on "Dancing with the Stars" Bristol! (I mean that in a good way of course.)

I wanted to take a moment and wish the mother of my nephew good luck tonight on her first big dancing debut.

I sincerely hope that she does well and is starting to feel confident in her performance.

I'm sure a few of you are wondering why in the world I am addressing this on my blog, but it really is the only way that I can reach out to her.

I am also wondering if I should look for my nephew in the stands.

I guess the only way for my family to find out is to look for him this evening while we watch the show together. It's sad to say that if we do see him in the audience that it will be the first time in months.

Maybe Bristol will soon be willing to accept my (and my families) offer of help. We would love to watch Tripp time from time now that she has such an action packed schedule. I'm sure she can use the help.

Anyway, I just wanted to send out my support since, regardless of our rocky relationship, she is the mother of my beautiful nephew.

(I will have to be truthful though and admit that as much as I want Bristol to do well my vote is going toward the SITUATION.)

There was a clip of your nephew and Bristol getting out of her truck in LA for her rehearsal. It was on TMZ tonight.

You don't really watch The Jersey Shore, do you? That was just a joke, right?

I'm watching DWTS now. I realize I've never voted or even watched a full episode. This will be a first for me.

I haven't decided who gets my vote just yet. I like Brandy and Florence so far. That can change after I see everyone dance.

My money is on Jennifer Grey.

I hope Bristol earns her wage on the show. :)

And........ she has a hugeeeeeeee zit!

Bristol did a good job. I wonder why her mom was not there.

Good grief girl, you are funny.

So I tried to vote, (snicker) but I'm clearly clueless about how this "voting for a star" happens. I get it now, ya gotta wait till Florence dances. (snort) ha ha

Nice to hear from you, Mercede! You are very generous in your support for Bristol and very smart, as well.

Haven't heard/read anything about Levi in a while. Is he doing OK?

This so weird - I live across the continent from you folks and I feel like I know you from my neighborhood!

Stay true to yourself, Mercede.

Your nephew is such a happy little guy. U can view a clip of him at TMZ waving to the paps. I think he looks like your mom. Bristol is working hard to provide for him as DWTS is hard work but it pays much better than her office job. I hope she gets another week on the show as their pay scale increases with each week they are still there. Levi has been in the news in LA lately, too. Are you excited about his new reality tv show?I am sure "the situation" will receive many votes from girls your age and be there for weeks.

Does Levi see Tripp?Bristol says he isn't involved in raising Tripp at all. What is going on?Is Levi not interested in seeing his son?

amomtoo said...

Were you watching when Bristol gave Levi a smackdown?
That was a cheap shot at him that was uncalled for and inappropriate especially when she stood in the "limelight". Please use the video for visitation and custody hearings. Her remarks spoke loudly about her.

Jan @ 7:36 pm offers some wise perspectives, imo. I hope time will bury old wounds for everyone involved.

Bristol's comments on television regarding Levi sound like they violate the custody agreement that forbids public discussion/commentary of the parents and the parties involved in the proceedings.

On "Dancing with the Stars," Bristol Palin's song will be Three Dog Night's "Mama Told Me Not to Come"...

Thank goodness Tripp resembles Levi instead of Bristol.
I agree with ohio_atty about her curbing her Levi comments. It seems like a violation of the custody agreement, and if she keeps it up, I hope the judge in Alaska takes notice and punishes her for it.

I also think Tripp looks like your darling mom!

I think that is so hilarious!! ( the song, that is)
Sadie, you are wise beyond your years. I don't know you from Adam, but you know I have read a lot about you, mostly from Gryphens blog and your own.
I have never watched any kind of Reality Show before and I'm not going to start now. It's the cheapest way networks can come up with programming and I think it's horrible. Especially the shows that make money off of other people's misery. We all know why Bri$tol is on DWTS. Mommy Dearest.
I really wish Bri$tol would try to get some type of Counseling so that she could learn how to not hold grudges. That will eat a person alive, from the inside out. She has a lot of growing up to do, but we don't really know what she went through growing up. I'm sure it was no picnic for her. But it still does not excuse her from being hateful and selfish. She is hurting Tripp more than anyone else. I will tell you from experience, my first child's father wanted nothing to do with her right after she was born. When she started to grow up a little bit, she would always ask about her Dad. I tried very hard not to put him down, I told her he had some problems to work through but he loved her none the less. When she was about 12, she wanted to live with him and his new wife. It broke my heart, I felt as though I was losing her for good. But I ended up letting her go, hoping she would see what he was like and come home. She did see what he was, but she never came home. She did move into my Mom's house though. I am happy about that. But after her hearing constantly about what a rotten, no good person I was on a constant basis, she forgot what we had. It didn't all come from her Dad, it was from his wife, his Parents, his brother and sister. They also had money, a lot of it. I was working, going to school and on welfare. So she had all the material things that I could never provide. At the age she was at, material possessions go a long way.
Eventually, Tripp will want to see you and your family on his own. It will feel like forever, but it WILL happen. The more they bad mouth you, the quicker he'll want to see for himself. I am so sorry that Bri$tol is being so unfair to you and your Family. But she will regret it all. I just hope for everyone's sake, she sees the light before he starts to turn on her.
Hang in there and keep doing what is good. You're doing an excellent job!! Things WILL turn around, I guarantee it.

Miss Sadie,

You continue to be a class act whom I respect. Keep on being humble, it's unfortunate Bristol won't, as she has allowed the fame and fortune to go to her head, just like her mother.

You know the saying though, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

As for Dancing With the Stars, the name of the show itself is a joke. What "stars" are on this show? Bristol is only a "star" because of the media circus she, Levi, and Sarah created around her.

Mitch said...

Why are you trying to be nice to her? I imagine that she mistakes your civility for groveling and takes sadistic pleasure from all of it. Call these people out for what the are. Human slime. I hope that $carah finally gets called out on her Trig birth story from yesterday. Now she claims he was born in Anchorage? WTF is up with that? Maybe she needs to write the lies she tells on her entire phony body so she can keep them straight.

Are you still voting for "the situation" on DWTS???

oh, by the way, please keep up with your blog! I can't wait to hear what you thought of Bristol's beautiful performance last night!

Jan said...

While reading the Washington Post online, I saw an article about Levi. It showed his interview frm MSNBC's The Last Word. He said everyone in the family are republicans except one cousin in Colorado. He said he is running a the republican ticket for mayor. Is your current mayor a republican???

Mercede just read on Mark Ballas web site that he and Bristol will open a dance studio in Houston after DWTS. Will the court decree allow Bristol to move to Houston? - Edna

Beautiful? Sorry, nothing against cows, but I generally don't describe them as beautiful. And then there was the badly designed and worn dress - thigh length exercise shorts? Under a ball gown? I see London, I see France all those DWTS viewers saw Bristol's underpants.

Jan said...

Anyone else disturbed by Max smacking Brandi on her butt as part of his teaching method? DWTS is watched by young girls who take dance classes and dream of being on DWTS one day. Max is saying to girls that it is OK for a Male teacher to HIT them. It really bothered me that the camera crew filming the practice session had no problem showing it on TV last night. They should have reported Max to DWTS executives. Max also used that over the top bed scene last year with Erin Andrews that was too sexy for DWTS time slot. Max wasted Erin's dancing skills on that routine. Max makes DWTS not a family show. My granddaughters who both take dance classes watch DWTS and their parents have told them that his behavior is NOT acceptable.

Mercede: here’s a review of Levi’s video - Washington Post - Levi Johnston got into the act again. Yep, the very same video that led Bristol Palin to end her short-lived reunion with baby daddy Johnston was released today. "He's just obsessed with the limelight," she said "and I got played” We're all still getting played -- and it's getting old. The song is called “After Love” The video is about a mean mom who puts the kibosh on her daughter's relationship with Johnston by sicing the cops on him and forcing him to dump her. And it's sung by a singer I've never heard of before named Brittani Senser. Senser -- who they say is 24, but I'm not buying it -- went on record today to say that her video didn’t bust up Johnston and Palin. "The video hadn't been shot when [Bristol] thought it already had been," Senser said. "I feel bad if anybody feels like that was the reason." Oh that's a relief. Another relief? Johnston kept most of his clothes on this time. Would someone please give this guy a real job?

Mercede, here is a link, I believe you should check out - it has to do with caring for family while being a teenager!
Since links do not seem to go through your blog, I have put some spaces in-between and put in the word 'dot' instead of the '.' (So... take out the 'dot' and put in the '.', and take oway the spaces...)

I hope you can contact the group and move forward with your intended college studies!
